SPRINT TO LAUNCH THE HTC SUPERSONIC WIMAX SMARTPHONE AT CTIA?

 

Sprint's first WiMAX smartphone might become official next week. According to the folks at WSJ, the rumored HTC Supersonic will be introduced during a presentation by Dan Hesse at CTIA. The carrier's first WiMAX handset is expected to be the centerpiece of Hesse's keynote address on Wednesday, March 24.

GOOGLE NEXUS ONE OFFICIALLY COMING TO SPRINT

 

Yesterday, it was hinted that the Google Nexus One will be available on AT&T in the future. Today, another domestic carrier has announced that the Nexus One will be available very soon: Sprint. Check out info from the official press release after the break.

T-MOBILE USA NOW SELLING THE MOTOROLA CLIQ XT FOR $129.99

 

T-Mobile USA has released a new Android smartphone after announcing the launch date for the HTC HD2 WinMo handset. The Motorola CLIQ XT is now available for $129.99 with a 2-yr contract agreement. This new T-Mobile phone features a 3.1 inch HVGA touchscreen display, 5 MP camera (with autofocus and LED flash) and the MOTOBLUR UI.

Motorola_DroidThe good folks over at BGR found a PDF posted on Verizon's support website that details enhancements that will be delivered to Motorola Droid handsets, features that are associated with Android 2.1.

GOOGLE ANNOUNCES HTC NEXUS ONE WITH AT&T AND ROGERS NETWORK SUPPORT

 

A new version of the Nexus One is now for sale directly from the Google web site. This new HTC Nexus One version features AT&T and Rogers network support (850/1900/2100 MHz and 850/900/1800/1900 MHz). Unfortunately, this handset costs $529 since it's unsubsidized and is not available with a contract from AT&T.

Circulating rumors have suggested that an unannounced high-end smartphone called the HTC Incredible is heading for Verizon to replace the Droid Eris. New images of the device posted at Android forums show the HTC Incredible sporting a matte black covering emblazoned with a Verizon Wireless logo.
