LG OPTIMUS LTE II WITH 2G OF RAM IS HEADED FOR THE US

 

LG introduced the Optimus LTE II after Samsung announced the Galaxy S III. The introduction was done in Korea and there was no indication that the Android smartphone will land in the US. However, LG has revealed that it has plans to bring the Optimus LTE II to consumers in the United States.

The representatives of the manufacturer indicated that summer is the estimated time for the arrival of the Android smartphone to other countries that have LTE networks, such as the U.S., Canada, Japan and parts of Europe.

ANDROID 4.0 ICS ALSO COMING TO T-MOBILE SAMSUNG GALAXY S II AND GALAXY S BLAZE 4G

 

Samsung has revealed the T-Mobile smartphones that will receive the in-demand Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update. The manufacturer has previously announced the list but it did not include the smartphones offered by the carrier.

Samsung has now updated its list of phones to be updated to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and the following T-Mobile devices are now included:

NEW AFFORDABLE ANDROID SMARTPHONE: HTC DESIRE C WITH ICS

 

Here's a device that one should look at if you are looking for an affordable Android cell phone. HTC has recently released its premium One X smartphone in multiple markets so the manufacturer has introduced a device for the mid-range market.

The HTC Desire C is expected to arrive in early June for £169 (€210 or $270) on Pay As You Go, or for free on contract. This handset brings a nice set of features for its affordable price. The Desire C offers a 3.5 inch HVGA display, a 600MHz Snapdragon S1 processor, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with Sense UI.

NO QUAD-CORE PROCESSOR FOR THE VERIZON WIRELESS SAMSUNG GALAXY S III?

 

Would you still purchase the Galaxy S III for Verizon if it loses the quad-core processor? Well, you might start thinking about it now if the handset featured in a benchmark turns out to be Big Red's version of the Samsung Galaxy S III.

T-MOBILE HTC SENSATION 4G TO GET ANDROID 4.0 ICE CREAM SANDWICH ON MAY 16

 

Here's some good news for T-Mobile Android users. It appears that the carrier is planning to release the Ice Cream Sandwich update for two of its Android smartphones. HTC has previously announced its ICS update plans for T-Mobile Android smartphones so we're glad that it has already begun.

T-Mobile's support forums indicate that HTC Sensation 4G users can get the Android 4.0 ICS update starting on May 16th via a download from HTC. The forum states that:

Here's some good news for LG Spectrum owners. A new update for the Android smartphone is set to provide a bunch of improvements and new features. Unfortunately, this update is not the Ice Cream Sandwich software upgrade that most Android phone users are waiting to get.

The VS920V6 update for the LG Spectrum is a hefty 127MB in size, which marks it as a significant OS upgrade. This upcoming (OTA Over The Air) software update upgrades the phone's OS version to Android 2.3.6 and provides new Google apps.

BLUE MOTOROLA DROID RAZR AVAILABLE AT VERIZON ON MAY 17TH

 

The DROID RAZR is one of the best-selling Android smartphones in Verizon's line-up so it's not a surprise that the carrier will offer the handset in a new color later this month.

Folks who want to have their smartphones in blue should take note of May 17th. On that date, the Verizon Wireless website intends to offer the popular Android phone in blue for $150 on a new two-year contract.
