A new version of the Nexus One is now for sale directly from the Google web site. This new HTC Nexus One version features AT&T and Rogers network support (850/1900/2100 MHz and 850/900/1800/1900 MHz). Unfortunately, this handset costs $529 since it's unsubsidized and is not available with a contract from AT&T. |

Joe Belfiore has ended the hopes of HTC HD2 owners who were hoping that the smartphone will be able to upgrade to the upcoming Windows Phone 7 platform. The corporate vice president and director of Windows Phone Program Management, has confirmed with the folks at Engadget that the high-end HTC HD2 won't be upgraded to Microsoft's OS. Belfiore explained that the smartphone is "not compliant with the Windows Phone 7 Series hardware specifications." |
