MOTOROLA CRUSH AIMS TO COMPETE IN THE TOUCHSCREEN LINE

Motorola, one of the leading cellphone makers also wish to compete in the touchscreen arena with their new Motorola Crush device. The name is rather odd but from the sounds of it, implies that this device is tough, full of impact and feature-packed.

Motorola Crush is an EVDO device that comes with a 2.8 inches touchscreen and virtual on-screen QWERTY keypad. It has 2-megapixel camera, 3.5mm headset port, stereo bluetooth for connectivity and microSD card slot that can hold up to 16GB of additional memory. IT also incorporates other features such as 'tap to silence" function, pedometer and music player. Battery life is estimated at 4.5 hours of talk-time.

Strange as it seems, The Crush's controls are located at the upper part of the device, above the screen. Users might find some time to adjust to this kind of set-up but it may guarantee some ease to others, too. Just imagine that your using computer with the browser controls at the top.

This mobile targets the lower-range market since it will be sold at an affordable price. That in exchange to excellent call quality, high-end design and great multimedia features. With this, Motorola hopes that it will live up to its name and make a good breakthrough in the touchscreen line.
