SONY ERICSSON ROBYN -- THE MINI XPERIA X10

More rumors about the Sony Ericsson Robyn pops out as new pictures of the device were posted on PointGPhone.com. The new pictures show that the "mini Xperia X10" is really small compared to the iPhone and the Xperia X10 of SE. This handset is said to be running on the Android platform and features Sony Ericsson's own custom UI.

The outside appearance of the phone looks very similar to the Xperia X10 but nearly half its size. It is also said to have a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, a touchscreen display, Wi-Fi capable, USB connector and 3.5mm headphone jack. It would come in different colors, too.

Speculations are: this small device will be targetting younger generations and probably much cheaper compared to other touchscreen, Android devices. Thus, the notion of a "budget phone".
