SPRINT LAUNCHED RUGGED MOTOROLA BRUTE I680

 

Known for its rugged, durable cellphones, Motorola together with Sprint announced the newest push-to-talk phone for Nextel. The device's name is Motorola Brute i680.

This rugged phone has a bulky clamshell form that meets the Military Specification 810F for shock, vibration, low and high temperatures, humidity, radiation, blowing rain and low pressure, dust and salt fog. It also comes with Sprint Nextel’s exclusive Public Safety application that “allows public safety personnel to communicate, even if they are out of network range – an irreplaceable communication tool in times of emergency.”

Among this phone's features are GPS, MP3 Player, Stereo Bluetooth, 2.2 inch internal display with 176 x 220 pixels, 1.3 inches external display with 120 x 160 pixels, Web browser, 2MP camera, memory card slot, threaded messaging and email.

Motorola Brute is now available in Sprint’s retails stores, and can also be bought online. It is sold at $119.99 (with a 2-yr contract and a Nextel Direct Connect calling plan).

Where's the best place to by an unl;ocked Brute, and can I flash it to Cricket, I have read that sprint phones, like verizon can be flashed to Cricket.
