APPLE TO SELL 10 MILLION IPHONES IN Q4 2009?

 

It appears that Apple will achieve record-breaking iPhone sales this quarter. According a Taiwanese market research firm, Apple is expected to sell more than 10 million iPhones worldwide. In comparison, more than 7.4 million units were sold in the 3rd quarter of 2009.

This unexpected increase in iPhone sale is based on supply chain analysis and abnormal shipments of Taiwan’s smartphone integrated circuits. The iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS has recently become available in new markets including China, significantly increasing the global sales of the popular touchscreen phone.
