AT&T ANNOUNCES THE HTC TILT2 AND PURE WINDOWS MOBILE 6.5 SMARTPHONES

AT&T kicked off its foray into the Windows Mobile 6.5 extravaganza by introducing two new smartphones from HTC. The HTC Tilt 2 and Pure Windows Mobile powered-phones will run on the latest version of the mobile platform right out of the box. These new AT&T mobile phones will also feature the TouchFLO 3D UI and Flash support in the new Internet Explorer Mobile.

Let's take a closer look at these new Windows Mobile 6.5 smartphones.

HTC Tilt 2: This highly-anticipated device is more popularly known as the Touch Pro2 and is already available in other major carriers. This high-end smartphone features a 3.6-inch widescreen WVGA display, slide-out QWERTY keyboard and a 3.2 megapixel camera. This upcoming AT&T cell phone will take over the very popular HTC Tilt and is expected to be released in the coming weeks for $300 after rebates with new agreement.

HTC Pure: This new smartphone is a modified version of the Touch Diamond2. This device features a 3.2-inch WVGA touch screen, 5 megapixel auto-focus camera and an ambient light sensor. Consumers can now purchase this WinMO phone for $150 after rebates with new contract.
