AT&T TO RELEASE THE GARMIN NUVIFONE G60 ON OCTOBER 4TH FOR $299

 

The Garmin-Asus Nuvifone G60 will finally see action in the US market nearly two full years after its introduction. This upcoming AT&T smartphone will be available from retail stores and online starting October 4. The Garmin-Asus Nuvifone G60 for AT&T will be sold for $299 on a two-year agreement after a $100 mail-in rebate.

This mobile GPS-centric phone features a touch-based design with heavy integration of Garmin's GPS technology that provides support for location-based services and turn-by-turn directions. Other features include a 3 megapixel camera with autofocus and geo-tagging and compatibility to AT&T's 3G network, and access to the carrier's Wi-Fi hotspots.

AT&T is also offering the Nuvifone Premium Connected Services which provides traffic updates, white pages, weather, movie, local events and fuel price content for only $5.99 per month after a 30-day trial.
