PUBLIC DISPLAY OF THE VERIZON SAMSUNG OMNIA II

The first image of the Samsung Omnia II for Verizon was revealed last month but the actual device has not been shown to the mobile phone community. Fortunately, Samsung has finally decided to allow the public to view the anticipated upcoming Verizon smartphone. This first public display of the Samsung Omnia II for Verizon confirmed that the device will offer a large 3.7-inch AMOLED display and a 5 megapixel auto-focus camera. The prototypes displayed were running on the Windows Mobile 6.1 OS but the folks at Samsung stressed that the software is not final.
