SAMSUNG “GLOBAL PHONES” TO BE SHOWCASED AT CES 2010

It appears that Samsung is determined to compete with its rivals at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The company has decided to showcase "groundbreaking, revolutionary global handsets" at CES 2010. Mobile phone and electronics enthusiasts will get their hands on the Samsung Corby S3650, Samsung CorbyPro B5310 and Samsung Galaxy Spica i5700 at the show. Unfortunately, the company did not indicate if these global handsets will be sold in the US. Let's take a closer look at the Samsung global phones that will be featured at CES 2010:
Galaxy Spica i5700: This slim and compact Android-powered smartphone sports a 3.2 inch HVGA touchscreen display. This Samsung global phone also features a 3.2MP autofocus camera, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, 800 MHZ application processor and a 3.5 mm ear jack. It also provides seamless connectivity with access to Google mobile services and popular social network sites, such as Facebook and MySpace. The Galaxy Spica i5700 also supports the full suite of Google services including Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube, and Google Talk.
Samsung CorbyPRO: This messaging phone features a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen and a slide-outQWERTY keyboard. Other features include HSDPA, Wi-Fi, and a 3MP camera. The CorbyPRO also provides a variety of entertainment and multimedia capabilities including push e-mail services, conversational SMS and access to Facebook and MySpace.
