SAMSUNG GALAXY NEXUS TO BE SPRINT'S FIRST 4G LTE PHONE?

It appears that Sprint also has its eyes on the first phone to run on the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The carrier has not announced it yet but an ad seen over at CNET indicates that Sprint is planning to offer the Samsung Galaxy Nexus as its first LTE 4G smartphone.

The exciting ad has been taken down but not before the news have spread and screenshots were taken. Check out the full image below:

Sprint has recently announced that its LTE network will be launched by the middle of 2012. Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio will be the first markets to be reached by the carrier's forthcoming Long Term Evolution 4G network.

Here are a few video reviews of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus to keep you excited:

That would be awesome

Well, WiMAX is all but dead. I hope that Sprint will be able to establish its 4G LTE network soon. The Galaxy Nexus is a great phone to be thew pioneer for the network. But by that time other monster phones will be out. The new iPhone is almost certain to have LTE support too so its goiing to be awesome. Then there will also be new HTC phone, dare I say the Samsung Galaxy S3. Hey maybe even a premium Motorola phone. Cant wait for the following months. Sprint 4G LTE for the win!!!
