It appears that the Samsung Omnia II will finally join the Verizon Wireless line-up next month. The folks at Engadget were able to take a peek at the launch pack for the upcoming Verizon Wireless phone. The document indicates that the Samsung Omnia II release date is on December 2nd. The Windows Mobile smartphone is expected to be sold for $199.99 on contract after a $100 mail-in rebate and will be available via telesales, online, and in-store. The Samsung Omnia II for Verizon Wireless features a 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED display and the Microsoft WinMo 6.5 Professional OS. Other key features for this upcoming Samsung cell phone include a 5 megapixel camera, TouchWiz 2.0 UI, EV-DO connectivity, Wi-Fi, a 3.5mm headset jack and 8GB of internal storage plus microSD expansion.
