Last month, Sprint announced that it will offer the HTC Hero starting on October 11 and the anticipated Android phone has gone live right on schedule. New and existing Android users can now purchase the Sprint HTC Hero for $179.99 after a $100 MIR and new agreement. Sprint is now the second US carrier to sell an Android device. The carrier has also recently announced the Samsung Moment as it's second Google phone.
