SPRINT INTRODUCES THE SAMSUNG INSTINCT HD

Sprint has unveiled the latest addition to the Samsung Instinct family. The upcoming Samsung Instinct HD aka Dash will be available starting on September 27 through Best Buy for $249.99 with a 2-yr contract agreement and after a $100 mail-in rebate . The new handset will be available in Sprint’s retail channels beginning on October 11. The Sprint Samsung Instinct HD features a 3.2-inch touchscreen with haptic feedback and an accelerometer. It will be equipped with a 5 megapixel camera with “HD” video recording and video playback via a TV-out port. Other features for this upcoming Sprint phones include EV-DO Rev A connectivity, a full Opera Mobile 9.7 browser, Wi-Fi, Sprint Navigation, stereo Bluetooth as well as corporate and POP3 email. The Samsung Instinct HD...
The Samsung Instinct HD was sluggish at times, and call quality isn't the sharpest. The Opera 9.7 browser takes some getting used to, and the memory card slot is located behind the battery cover, which is inconvenient. It's also quite expensive.
