UPCOMING MOTOROLA PHONES FOR 2010

Motorola started on the road to recovery by jumping into the Google Android bandwagon last year. The Motorola DROID and CLIQ brought renewed life to the struggling company. Motorola appears to be focusing on the same strategy and is expected to deliver more Android powered handsets this year. Let's review the upcoming Motorola phones for 2010.

Motorola Motoroi: This exciting high-end smartphone features a powerful 8MP autofocus camera with Xenon flash and HD video recording. The Motoroi also features a 3.7 inch WVGA touchscreen display and runs on Android 2.0. This Android phone is expected to arrive in march.

Motorola i1

: This Android phone is bound for iDEN networks such as Sprint Nextel. The i1 sports a rugged body with a 3.1-inch touch screen, push-to-talk, 5-megapixel camera, Swype text entry, Opera Mini 5, and WiFi. Sprint Nextel will begin offering the Motorola i1 "this summer."

Motorola MotoSplit: This Andoid handset is suspected to be headed for AT&T. The MototSplit sports an unusual design that features a thin body with a full QWERTY keyboard that’s cut in half by a large touchscreen in the middle. It is expected to be released in the third quarter of 2010.

Motorola Shadow: This handset is expected to be the second Google phone or the Nexus Two. The Motorola Shadow is rumored to feature a 4.3 inch WVGA touchscreen display, HMDI port, and an 8MP camera with HD video recording.
