VERIZON INCLUDES AT&T'S APPLE IPHONE IN MISFIT TOYS AD

 

Verizon took a shot at AT&T's flagship phone with it's iDont viral video that promotes the Motorola DROID. This time the carrier took aim at AT&T's iPhone 3GS by including it in the Misfit Toys ad. See the controversial video after the break.

This new attack ad form Verizon Wireless places the iPhone on the mythical Island of Misfit Toys. The an island is inhabited solely by gadgets that consumer's do not need, want and things that do not work.

The new ad adds fuel to the controversy between the major carriers. AT&T has recently sued its rival for an ad that allegedly misleads the public regarding its 3G coverage. The ad compares Verizon’s nationwide 3G coverage to AT&T’s limited 3G coverage. The comparison was again emphasized on this new ad.

Perhap's Verizon is trying to drum up more controversy to make up for the DROID's slow start.
