VERIZON WIRELESS TO LAUNCH THE MOTOROLA DROID 2 ON AUGUST 23RD WITH ANDROID 2.2?

Verizon has already announced the Motorola DROID X but the carrier is expected to launch another DROID handset this year. Circulating rumors indicate that Verizon will launch the Motorola Droid 2 on August 23rd for $199.99. The rumblings also revealed that this upcoming Verizon Wireless phone will be launched pre-loaded with Android 2.2 aka Froyo.
