2 NEW NOKIA MUSIC PHONES

Nokia just announced the addition of two new bar-style handsets to the its music-centric mobile phone lineup. These newly released phones are compatible with Nokia's Music Store, and can be purchased by customers in the third quarter. The first music phone, the 3G capable Nokia 5230, costs $350 and offers the innovative Say and Play function. This feature allows users to listen to their favorite music by simply stating the title of the song or the name of an artist. This music phone is equipped with a separate audio chip to provide quality sound performance and runs on Nokia S60 operating system. It can support up to 8GB via a microSD slot and is compatible with with Nokia's N-Gage gaming platform. The second music centric device is the Nokia 5220 which is cheaper at $225 and runs on the Nokia Series 40 operating system. Users will enjoy an enhanced music experience with the Nokia 5220's built-in lanyard and lights that flash to the music's rhythm. This device can support MicroSD cards up to 2GB. However, it lacks 3G capability. Both of these new Nokia music phones will feature 2 megapixel cameras, 3.5mm headset jacks, stereo Bluetooth, dedicated music keys and FM radios with RDS. |
