It appears that Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) displays may have become Apple's pick to be used on its devices. LG has confirmed that new set of Apple iPhone, iPod and Netbook will be using OLED displays. Indeed using this technology is expected to be a great help in improving the iPhone's battery performance. However, Tests showed that OLED screens that were used on a notebook "leave behind finger marks." Fortunately, LG believes that by adding a layer in the manufacturing process, they can eliminate "finger marking." Via [Boy Genius Report]
