BLACKBERRY BOLD 9000 GETS AT&T VISUAL VOICEMAIL

The BlackBerry Bold is getting an exciting new update. This afternoon RIM will be providing firmware that will now support AT&T's Visual Voicemail system. The update can be downloaded with an icon that will be added to the firmware in the update. Other updates include the option to restrict network settings to AT&T's 2G GSM system. This update can save the Bold's battery life due to 2G power efficiency. A few other applications that will be available for download include MobiTV, Tetris, Mobile Banking, and Scrabble. To update your BlackBerry Bold go to the Options menu > Advanced Options > Wireless Update. You can also download the update via web or BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
