It appears that Verizon Wireless is trying to clear the store shelves of RIM’s first and currently only touchscreen phone. The BlackBerry Storm is now being sold for an affordable price of $49.99 on a two-year contract after rebate. This device is also covered by Verizon's latest buy-one-get-one-free deal so late adopters can get two BlackBerry Storms for the price of one. This major price drop indicates that the BlackBerry Storm 2 is just around the corner. This upcoming BlackBerry smartphone is expected to make up for the shortcomings of RIM’s first touchscreen handset. [Via: Phone Arena] |
