BLACKBERRY STORM UPDATE VERSION 4.70.141 FLUNKS TESTS

Here's some unfortunate news for BlackBerry Storm users. It appears that the Blackberry Storm update version 4.70.141 which was scheduled to be released last month, is dead in the water. According to a BGR tipster, the Blackberry Storm update version 4.70.141 has failed Verizon Wireless testing. Unfortunately, there is also no word yet on a new OS version nor any expected release date for a future Blackberry Storm update.

RIM has recently confirmed that the BlackBerry Storm version 2 is underway so any development on the first Storm may end up being shelved. The company might also decide to roll out an OS 5.0 update instead of releasing another Blackberry Storm update version 4.7 for testing.
