Mobile Tech News reports that Opera Software has officially launched the mobile phone Opera Mini browser for Google's Android platform. This browser offers Internet browsing by compressing data at a remote server before sending content to the phone applet for rendering. It also offers innovative features such as Google search, small screen rendering, zoom, and synced bookmarks, all of which gives users real desktop-like web browsing from their handsets. The Android development community is encouraged to beta test the browser and share feedback. |
