CUPCAKE OS UPDATE FOR T-MOBILE G1 MAYBE COMING IN LATE JANUARY

Here's some good news for T-Mobile G1 users. According to the folks at GoogleandBlog.com, a senior T-Mobile G1 PDA specialist has confirmed that the well-anticipated Cupcake OS Update possibly by the end of January. The senior G1 specialist also indicated that the release will be done in stages “Over The Air” but it will be by region and not based on the date of the G1 purchase. T-Mobile is also working on a battery improvement program for the G1 Android which include efficiencies in an OTA update and an extended life battery replacement. [Via: Gizmodo] |
