Every mobile phone has its share of issues or defects at launch and the Palm Pre appears to be no different. Sporadic reports of issues and defects have been reported in the first weekend of the the Palm Pre's availability. Most of the reports involve the Palm Pre's 3.1-inch touchscreen display. Som early Palm Pre users have complained about dead pixels and "splotchy," distorted, or discolored displays. A number of Palm Pre users also reported unexpected system shutdowns that can be resolved by a battery pull. There were also negative observations regarding battery overheating and draining. Hopefully, Palm and Sprint can respond with a firmware update that can remedy these early Pre issues. [Via: Engadget] |

Palm Pre Bugs
So have you guys heard of any issues that are happeng with the Pre? I am on my 3rd Pre within the initial 30 days of owning it.
On the 1st phone I owned, it started opening up applications and calling random people, also the little 'water droplet' icon when you touch the screen started going wild and there were hundreds of them touching all over the screen, without me even tapping the screen.
The 2nd phone I had, the 'back' feature on the slider stopped working, so I couldnt go back in web pages or in other apps. The touch screen went dead shortly after that, and would not allow me to do anything at all.
Im just curious if you guys have heard any issues with this at all.
