According to a post at the cellphonesignal.com forum, the FCC has just approved the Nokia rm-407 with 3G bands headed for T-Mobile. This mystery Nokia phone offers MTS support for the 1700 and 2100 MHz bands and quad-band GSM radios. This phone might be compatible for T-Mobile's Hotspot@Home because it also sports Wi-Fi. At the moment, no pictures or further information on this Nokia phone are available. However, the fact that T-Mobile is expending a lot of effort on securing 3G capable handsets indicate that the carrier may soon launch a functioning 3G network. |
