FCC FINALLY APPROVES THE GARMIN NUVIFONE

 

Here are some great news for for all mobile GPS fans. According to Engadget.com, the Garmin Nuvifone navigation-centric mobile phone has finally passed through the testing grounds of the FCC. This approval has been delayed since the Garmin Nuvifone navigation-centric mobile phone was launched on January 2008. The FCC documents indicate that the Garmin Nuvifone will be equipped with 850 and 1900 MHz WCDMA bands for 3G connectivity. This navigation-centric mobile phone features a 3.5-inch touchscreen, a built-in camera with video capture and a mediaplayer. The Garmin Nuvifone GPS mobile phone is expected to hit US stores at the first half of 2009.
