GET MOVING WITH THE MOTOROLA W7 ACTIVE EDITION

We're talking about a phone that is capable of responding to your body's every wiggle, turn, jump, squirm and flip. Well, the new Motorola W7 Active Edition will do just that-and more. An accelerometer built into the W7 senses your body's movements and hand gestures, and will perform tasks accordingly. It reacts to motions such as a flip of the phone, which will activate tasks like silencing incoming calls, snoozing your dreaded alarm clock, or pausing your music. A wrist flick will shuffle between your favorite songs or photos, and shaking the device will launch any application you wish. And, as if that wasn't enough, the W7 will help you drop the doughnut and pick up running: it comes with an integrated pedometer that allows users to create personal profile goals, complete workouts and review summary reports. Download a personal trainer app that lets you work towards your fitness goals, and let the W7 help you lose those last five pounds. Additionally, the W7 is loaded with a 2-megapixel camera, Mp3 player, a 2.2 in., 320x240 screen, a VGA camera to make video calls, and up to 8GB of optional external memory. It's no secret that Motorola has been suffering lately; we can only hope that this will be their ticket back into the top of the market. While it's a great concept, it might be one that grows old fast. Pick up the W7 and decide for yourself!
