Now the juicy part of this rumor is the report that the iPhone will be offered without long-term exclusivity and a revenue sharing deal. This would mean that this summer, a true, global, 3G iPhone may be released on UMTS networks around the world. Experts think that Apple officials may have decided that more money can be made by dealing with more partners as opposed to issuing the iPhone on a single carrier.
