Consumers have been waiting for a GSM version of the Palm Pre since the webOS device was introduced last January. A GSM version of the handset was spotted in Vietnam several weeks ago and the device has just received it's Wi-Fi Alliance certification so we know that it's real and it's coming. The document indicates that the GSM version of the Palm Pre, with the model number the P100UNA, will come with 850/1900MHz UMTS/HSPA. However, it is still not known if this device is headed for AT&T or Rogers. This upcoming handset may be headed for Bell's or Telus' new HSPA network.
