HTC CONFIRMS THAT TOUCH PRO2 WILL COME TO NORTH AMERICAN MARKET

The HTC Touch Pro2 impressed a lot of observers during its official launch at MWC 2009 in Barcelona. The details on the release date and pricing on the HTC Touch Pro2 were limited at WMC 2009 but HTC has confirmed via its Twitter channel that the anticipated Smartphone will hit North American stores. HTC stated that " “the Touch Pro2 will be broadly available in all major markets, including North America.”This statement hints that GSM and CDMA versions of the will probably be launched in the US. HTC also indicated that the HTC Touch Pro2 will hit the stores beginning on the summer of 2009. The HTC Touch Pro2 is the update to the original Touch Pro. This upcoming device offers a 3.6 inch touch-sensitive display with TouchFLO 3D interface and a slide out QWERTY keyboard. The HTC Touch Pro2 will initially run on the Windows Mobile 6.1 OS, but will make the jump to Windows Mobile 6.5 when this newest software version becomes available.
