HTC TOUCH PRO 2 FOR VERIZON WIRELESS SPOTTED IN THE WILD

It appears that three US carriers will offer the HTC Touch Pro 2 in the near future. A live image of the HTC Touch Pro2 with Verizon Wireless branding has been posted on the web. However, the red interface that characterizes most of Verizon Wireless phones appear to be missing, casting some doubts to it's authenticity. Rumors and prior leaked images have indicated that the HTC Touch Pro 2 might also be headed for Sprint and T-Mobile. This upcoming Smartphone sports a a 3.6 inches touch-sensitive display with TouchFLO 3D interface and a slide out QWERTY keyboard. It is also compatible with Windows Mobile 6.5 and carries a 3.2-megapixel camera with auto-focus, flash and digital zoom. [Via: Boy Genius] |

I heard the touch pro2 will be running at $800.00 unlocked of course, for me, that's a bit much. I just purchased a high end 4GB RAM (450GB memory) notebook for $700 with loads of other features. I was looking forward to this phone, but the price is so damn high. I look forward to the Nokia N97 in a few months then.
