Not long after HTC announced plans for all future cell phone releases to have standard 3.5mm headphone jacks, the CDMA version of the phone (ultimately bound for Verizon) is to have this forlorn feature. More info after the jump. In actuality, this was discovered by MobileSyrup in a preview for the phone's Canadian release on TELUS. Rather than require a clunky USB-to-headphone adapter, the includes the universal standard up at the top of the device. There's no American release date as of now for the phone, but given the international and domestic releases thus far, it can't be too much longer. [via EngadgetMobile] |
