Here's an exciting iPhone rumor for iPhone fans. The folks at the iPod observer have gotten hold of an alleged image of the new generation 3G iPhone . If the image is authentic, then the new iPhone's back will be a glossy black plastic instead of the current model's satin nickel finish. The image also shows that the antenna will not be covered with the plastic end piece, which may be related to added antennas that Apple might include with the device. A visible 8GB mark on the case suggests that Apple will continue to offer the 8G iPhone model.
