LOW-END SAMSUNG MEDIAFLO PHONE PASSES THROUGH FCC -- THE U450
Submitted by JBlock on Wed, 07/01/2009 - 00:27.Bookmark/Search this post with: The FCC has just waved their seal of approval for a new, cheap Samsung mediaphone. Check out more info wrangled from the Federal Communications Commission after the jump. Not much is known about the device--the FCC hasn't released a picture of the front--but we do know some basic specs from the FCC report. For one, this is a CDMA device, so expect it on Verizon or Sprint (though more likely Sprint due to the MediaFLO support that competes with VCast). It also packs some media features for the frugal music and video connoisseur, with an MP3 player, the aforementioned MediaFLO, and a 1.3 megapixel camera. Other than that, this phone is a mystery, but not one to lose sleep over. [Source PhoneArena] |
