LTE IPHONE FOR VERIZON WIRELESS?

Here's an exciting info for Verizon Wireless subscribers who have been dreaming of getting the iPhone. Verizon Communication's CEO, Ivan Seidenberg mentioned the possibility of a LTE iPhone for Verizon Wireless in an interview with The Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones Newswires. Seidenberg explained that a CDMA version of the iPhone was never considered because of the network's limited distribution footprint. However, Apple may be more willing to work with Verizon Wireless to build an LTE-equipped version of the iPhone in the future. That is interesting and does raise the pressure on ATT to negotiate extension of the iPhone exclusive contract.
My guess is that they will stay with ATT for the 3G network and go with Verizon on 4G when the LTE platform is rolled out, but that wont be for a while
