We told you about the Motorola Alexander last year, but it appears that we won't be able to get our hands on this promising device. According to DigiTimes, the Motorola Alexander Smartphone has been canceled. This handset was supposed to be Motorola's "last stand" and offers promising features such as a touchscreen, vertically-sliding QWERTY keypad, an 8 megapixel camera, NVIDIA graphics chip and Windows Mobile OS. It also appears that another Motorola Smartphone is in trouble. Apparently, shipments of the Motorola MOTOSURF have been scaled back due to a decision to limit the markets in which the device will be available. This means that US Motorola fans may not be able to get the MOTOSURF A3100 from a carrier. [Via: BGR]
