It appears that the anticipated Motorola Android phones will see action in multiple carriers this year. According to a WSJ journal article, "people familiar with the matter" have revealed that both T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless will be offering Motorola Android-based phones before the end of the year. The WSJ article also reported that one of the Motorola Android phones will sport a touchscreen, slide-out QWERTY keyboard for messaging and built-in access to social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. This description fits a rumored Android phone called the Motorola Calgary. T-Mobile is expected to offer an Android-based phone called the Motorola Morrison. [Via: Phonescoop] |
