Submitted by Matt on Wed, 05/14/2008 - 22:01.Bookmark/Search this post with: Here's an interesting mobile phone scoop. According to the folks at GSMarena.com, Phillips has launched a pair of touchscreen mobile phones, the X800 and the Xenium X-Connect. The Phillips Xenium X-Connect offers high-end features that include Windows Mobile 6, UMTS and HSDPA, and a 3-inch display. However, the Xenium X-Connect does not support WiFi. On the other hand, the Phillips X800 offers a less impressive set of features that include a 2.9-inch 240 x 400 screen, 2G GSM for data, a 2 megapixel camera, microSD slot and Bluetooth. This touchscreen handset also offers hand writing recognition and a documents reader. The X800 comes with Phillips' trademark impressive battery life but lacks EDGE or WiFi. The definite launch dates and pricing information on both of these touchscreen mobile phones are not yet available. |
