IS THIS THE NEW SAMSUNG INSTINCT MINI FOR SPRINT?

It appears some enterprising Sprint fanboy has snapped pics of the Samsung Instinct Mini. A product known to be coming down the pipeline and landing next month if all goes well, user "phonetec" over at the Sprint Users forum has shot some classic BlurryCam™ photos of the new device.

Rather than replacing the current Instinct, the Mini would be an additional device offered alongside the same old Samsung we already knew and loved. On the plus side, it will be slimmer and more rounded, as is the trend these days.

BGR reported on Sprint's product launch schedule last month, and the Mini was confirmed to be on track for the 19th of April.

Those of you hoping for better data will be let down, as its only supports EVDO Rev 0 (boo hiss). On the plus side though, the phone should retain all of the media-centric features that Instinct fans know and love, like e-mail, web browsing, and navigation—all on a touchscreen no less. But that's beside the point.

What is the point? It's new. And it rounder-er. 'Nuff said. Brilliant. Run out and get one as soon as you can before they're all gone!
