NOKIA ANNOUNCED THE 6760 SLIDE

Nokia announced a new phone that targets people who use their phone mainly for messaging and access to social networking sites; the 6760 Slide. This new Nokia phone sports a futuristic slider design with a full QWERTY keyboard. The Nokia 6760 Slide is similar to the Surge for AT&T except for its more powerful camera.

• 3.2 megapixel camera
• Ovi's messaging service on board that supports push email and Google Talk and Windows Live Messenger IM services
• quad-band GSM/EDGE and 900/2100 WCDMA/HSDPA radios
• GPS
• Flash-enabled web browser
• S60 3rd Edition

The Nokia 6760 Slide will be available on the third quarter for about $285.
