OFFICIAL PALM PRE LAUNCH VIDEO POSTED

I must say, having watched the entire official CES video (I suggest skipping straight to the product demo in the middle of the video to spare yourself a lot of PR babble) I am extremely impressed by what Palm has come up with. I haven't been this wowed since the launch of the original iPhone.

They've taken a lot of what the iPhone got right, with multitouch gestures, a first-class internet experience, and seamless integration, and expanded on it in lots of ways I hadn't even thought of. They've made multi-tasking a breeze and even managed to make mundane things like calendar events or composing an e-mail seem somehow fun and well...cool.

And I think for the first time, Apple could learn something.

PS, I owned the original iPhone and currently use an iPhone 3G...just throwin' that out there
