OFFICIAL VERIZON BLACKBERRY TOUR RELEASE DATE: JULY 12

Yesterday, we informed you about the possible release date for the Verizon BlackBerry Tour. Well, that date has now been officially confirmed by the pre-order page posted by Verizon Wireless. The BlackBerry Tour for Verizon Wireless will be available online and in stores on July 12th for $199 with a two year agreement. New and existing Verizon Wireless customers can pre-order the highly anticipated smartphone starting today.

A camera-less BlackBerry Tour 9630 will also be available for the same price as the camera-equipped model. The camera-less model will be ideal for consumers who work in companies and organizations that prohibit the use of a camera-equipped mobile phone in the workplace.
