Palm Pre build issues are the most common complaints with the webOS device. Several weeks ago, we blogged about the early bugs and issues with the Palm Pre and reported about the problems with the display and unexpected system shutdowns. Well, it appears that Palm has quietly made some improvements on the hardware and build quality of the first webOS smartphone. One of the major fixes made to Palm Pre is the addition of a gray foam to the battery compartment which tightens up the battery connection. This is a solution to a nasty bug that caused the smartphone to reset or turn off when the keyboard was closed. Other changes include fixes to the screen cracking and unintended rotation issues.
