Apple has sent out invitations for a sneak peak at the new iPhone 3.0 OS update and a brand new version of the SDK. According to Engadget, Apple is offering an "advance preview of what we're building" during this Apple iPhone OS 3.0 preview that will be held at 10AM PST / 1PM EST on March 17. Circulating rumors indicate that the Apple iPhone OS 3.0 may offer background multitasking applications. Will Apple finally deliver push notification on the iPhone 3.0 OS update?
