PRICE OF PALM PRE AT BEST BUY: $849

Consumers looking to buy the Palm Pre at full retail should stay away from the Best Buy website. The Palm Pre has debuted at the Best Buy website with an astounding $849 full retail price tag. Apprarently, this heavy price tag is a ploy to  discourage Best Buy employees and any other customers from buying the Palm Pre at full retail.

There are also reports that Palm Pre stocks will be very limited at Best Buy stores. A BGR tipster indicated that there will only be around 4 Palm Pre units per BestBuy store on June 6. The Sprint CEO warned us of possible shortages but we didn't expect it to be this bad.
