Submitted by Matt on Mon, 06/30/2008 - 21:50.Bookmark/Search this post with: Here's some good news for Verizon subscribers. Verizon has announced a new partnership with Real's Rhapsody music service and MTV that will bring top quality music to their subscribers. Verizon customers who subscribe to V CAST Music with Rhapsody service will have unlimited access to Rhapsody's 5 million songs both online and via their phones for a fee of $15 per month. They will still be chraged $1.99 for over-the-air downloads. However, they will be able to download an unprotected master file for their PC that can be burned to CDs and played on multiple machines or devices. For 99 cents, subscribers to the service can also download tracks directly from Rhapsody to their PCs. These tracks can be burned or played on or transferred to multiple machines because they are free of DRM. |
