RIM BLACKBERRY APP WORLD TO LAUNCH ON APRIL?

RIM officially announced the BlackBerry App World earlier this month and it appears that it will be launched on the first day of April. According to BusinessWeek, the BlackBerry App World will be opened on the same day that CTIA Wireless will begin.

The BlackBerry App World launch will give us a glimpse of how RIM has developed relationships with third-party developers. It will also indicate how RIM has responded to the pleas of BlackBerry users who have been clamoring for applications. We will also be able to see if the BlackBerry apps can compete with the products of the Apple iTunes App Store and other major platforms.
