According to TechRadar.com, Samsung is speeding up the process of developing a handset based on Google's Android OS. The mobile phone manufacturer joined the Open Handset Alliance last October 2008 and is currently "accelerating the development process for Google phones in order to meet the specific needs of local carriers." Samsung also confirmed that they will be bringing Android based devices to T-Mobile and Sprint Nextel. However, it is still unclear if Samsung's Android handset will be the successor of the T-Mobile G1. [Via: TmoNews] |
